The Sound Of Thunder has two systems of awards & commendations. The first is a merit-based system that awards capsuleers who have met a specific requirement. The second is an honours system, where titles can be bestowed at the CEO’s discretion. Both tiers are displayed below
Merit Based Awards

| Presidential Seal | Awarded to all CEO’s of The Sound Of Thunder corporation |
| Presidential Medal Of Freedom | Awarded to those who demonstrate especially meritorious contribution to The Sound Of Thunder Alliance |
| Admiral Of The Fleet | Awarded to those who have led TSOTH military forces in at least one of our campaigns |
| Defence Superior Service Medal | Awarded to TSOTH players who perform superior service in a position of significant responsibility |
| Intelligence Star | Awarded to leaders of the TSOTH Intelligence Directorate |
| Top Gun | Awarded to those who came top of the class in TSOTH’s Advanced Training Flight Course |
| Fighter Ace | Awarded to those who successfully complete TSOTH’s Advanced Training Flight Course |
| Flight Wings | Awarded to those who successfully complete TSOTH’s Basic Training Flight School |

| Hero Of The Sound Of Thunder | Ceremonial award that can be bestowed on any capsuleer, including those not in The Sound Of Thunder Alliance. It is the highest ranking honour in our system |
| Grand Commander Of The Sound Of Thunder | Second highest honour in our system. It can be bestowed on any TSOTH player at the discretion of the CEO |
| Knight Commander Of The Sound Of Thunder | Third highest honour in our system. It can be bestowed on any TSOTH player at the discretion of the CEO |
| Commander Of The Sound Of Thunder | Lowest ranking honour in our system. It can be bestowed on any TSOTH player at the discretion of the CEO |
