The Sound Of Thunder has carried out another strike, deep behind enemy lines. In the early hours of 11th October, a Vexor-class cruiser was spotted ratting in TDP-T3. Carlos Warren, who was the cloaky camper on patrol at that time, warped in and engaged the hostile. The fight was over very quickly, due to the Vexor pilot being caught entirely by surprise, and was over in less than 30 seconds. Speed is one of the key factors that make a successful attack, along with aggression, and surprise.
Immediately following the engagement, our intelligence assets picked up chatter in Pandemic Horde comms indicating that a further 3 players in system had decided to dock for the evening rather than risk their ships suffering the same fate. As well as the actual hard-kills of enemy ships, we are also inflicting a demoralizing effect on others. The fact we have proven we can strike Horde even in their inner sanctum, one jump away from their staging, with impunity, is creating a lot of unease among the line members.
